Mr Eazi’s real name is Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade. The musician was born on 19 July 1991 in Port Harcourt, which is the capital of Rivers State, Nigeria. The singer’s mother had her own business. He father was a pilot. After completing his piloting career, Ajibade’s father founded an aviation consulting company. Mr Eazi’s love for music goes back to his childhood when the whole family was listening to his father’s records collection while having breakfast.
When he was 16, Aijbade moved to Ghana and enrolled in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to study engineering. Even though his education had little to do with music, the young man didn’t abandon his hobby. He participated in various school music projects. The song “My Life” recorded by KNUST students with Mr Eazi as a back vocalist became very popular on campus. The aspiring artist founded a small business for arranging celebrations called Swagger Entertainment.After graduating, Ajibade moved back to Nigeria, where he continued developing his skills as a businessman. At different times, he founded six companies, the profits from which allowed him to lead a worry-free life. However, the artist couldn’t stop thinking about becoming a professional musician. Whenever possible, he took the opportunity to work with such artists as Peeweezle, Klumonsta, Nshona, D'Tunes, Magnom, and E-Kelly.
In 2013, Mr Eazi recorded his debut mixtape, About to Blow. It became popular due to the two hits he released earlier, "Pipi Dance" and "Bankulize". The mixtape featured 13 songs, all of which were popular in Nigeria. At that time, local fans tried to book Mr Eazi for their private events. Between 2014 and 2016, the artist worked with other musicians. He recorded "Baby Lace" with Stay Jay, “Knockout” with Louski, “Skin Tight” with a Ghanaian rapper Efya, “Dance For Me” with Eugy, and many more. In 2016, Mr Eazi was nominated for Ghanaian Music Award but later disqualified since he wasn’t a citizen of Ghana.

The song “Skin Tight” brought Mr Eazi an award at WatsUp TV Africa Music Video Awards for Special Recognition Award Music Video Africa in 2018. He became the best artist of the year according to Soundcity MVP Awards. The musician was also nominated for the best African artist title at MOBO Awards. In 2017, Mr Eazi released his second mixtape, Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos. It featured numerous popular songs including, “Business”, “Fight”, “Feelings”, “In the Morning”, “Detty Yasef”, “Leg Over”, “Short Skirt”, “Tilapia”, “Accra to Lagos”, “People”, “Life Is Eazi”, and others. The album was recorded together with such rappers as Mugeez, Medikal, DJ Cuppy, Falz, Tekno, Big Lean, Olamide & Phyno. The song “Short Skirt” was played on the TV channel Kiss TV UK.
In March 2018, the musician attended Vanity Fair Oscar party, where he turned out to be one of the most famous African artists. He was seen together with such celebrities as Sean Combs and Drake. Music critics give Mr Eazi positive reviews. They call him one of the few artists, who is trying hard to develop African culture. He is compared to such celebrities as Beres Hammond and Gregory Isaacs. Mr Eazi lives and works in Nigeria. He is acquiring new fans from all over the world by writing new songs and performing live.
